So once again, no need to market if you work for ebay, instead today they changed the fonts on the seller hub. Gee what an improvement to sales. I had none today, again. So instead of marketing eBay, you want to just change the code in the system so the fonts in seller hub are different. Thanks, that helps a lot.

My seller hub landing page changed yesterday. It's huge. Now have to scroll back and forth to read the sections. Reminds me of a giant IMAX screen.
Not a fan.

I noticed the font the other day.
I also noticed they have finally fixed this tab under orders, "Orders eligible for combined purchases"
it did not work for me for at least 6 months and a couple weeks ago it started working again
I get combined orders every time I have batch of auctions end
my prayers were answered.............ebay did fix something that failed to work for a while.

Sorry - this is hilarious. Some report HUGE and others MUCH smaller.
What is everyone's screen Zoom % set on? lol

Mine is the same size it's always been. 100%, so regular size, monitor resolution is 1600x900.

Same size as always. 100% just lighter text. Harder to differentiate between bold and regular. It all looks pretty much the same. Would advise to be extra careful what you click on to make sure that is what you were aiming for.

Yup, I noticed immediately. Font changes are one of my pet peeves. Particularly if they serve no useful purpose.
This would not have even made my top 1000, list of things that need to be changed 😞
It's so frustrating with all the glitches & bugs, that they are wasting time changing a font.

I am not even a web developer and I could have changed it myself in about 3 minutes, most of which would be spent looking for the right file to edit in the first place. I still think it is an accident that happened during some other minor code update.
I was gonna say, it's basically just changing the font name in a stylesheet. Takes all of maybe ten seconds to do once you find the right line of code.
Well, yes & no. The actual change, yes. The studies involving 5 different groups, of 20 people each to determine if the font needs to be changed, the study to determine what font to change it to, the 25 meetings to debate what font to change it to, the 4 month process to justify the change to higher ups, the 2 month wait for the higher ups to sign off on the change, the 2 months of internal & user beta testing (just kidding, we know that didn't happen), all the resources spent back & forth to communicate with India to make the change, etc.
As I'm sure you know, no IT change in a company of this size takes 10 seconds. Plus, all the resource usage cost money in terms of time spent. This was probably a 6 month project. But at least, it likely only cost thousands, not millions.
Even this type of seemingly minimal change goes through processes upon processes at big corporations.
ETA: I know someone mentioned thinking this is accidental. I don't think it is b/c many of the newly updated screens have been using this ugly font for months now.

Some people just like to change stuff 'cause they just get tired of staring at their own navel.
This change is not earth shaking, easy to do. I kinda' like it - it is easier to read for this '44 model. Take all the help I can get even the small stuff. See when your come of age and become a card carrying member of the Medicare Club you will know the true meaning of this saying "old age ain't for the sissies." God wiling and the Creek Don't Rise - you'll get your card.
