To say sales have fallen off a cliff would be an understatement

Boy those high selling numbers during the pandemic are gone gone gone. Just curious though if the huge dropoff I am seeing now is due to the inflation and gas prices or is it due to changes made on the site here. I have noticed my listing impressions and page views keep going down. For a long time I would make sure to list every day because I know that draws in views but that has stopped working over the past two months. During the pandemic I had cut off international sales. I just turned that back on thinking that doing that would make the listing impressions and page views go up but nope.  I tried putting my listings on vacation for a few days because that worked in the past but nope. I also tried running a sale through memorial day weekend but even that isn't pumping up views. Any other tricks people do to pump up views that has worked in the past 2 months or is this all just down to people don't have money right now? Please keep comments to increasing page views and being seen again and not about pricing and such. I have been selling on here a long time and am just trying to find out why my old tricks of pumping up views aren't working.

If I could help I would, but I'm in the same boat. I've gone 18 days this month without a sale. I list every single day and crickets. And yes I believe it is 100% related to what is going on in the world today. I have another business offline and the same results- people are just not buying like they were. What I see people buying now is food, toilet paper, and stuff for the home. I'm in that grey area of.. "do I really need that right now" and sadly unless I give it away most buyers just move along. **bleep** me off but at the same time I understand it too.

I checked the first couple of things I saw in your listings that I KNEW would have other sellers with the same item.

Nintendo Power Magazine Vol 30 November 1991 Final Fantasy II Flintstones Poster

You have it at 19.98 shipped. You have 10 people lower than you, cheapest is 13.95 shipped and that person has "best offer" enabled.

2003 Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman The Complete Season 1 DVD 5-Disc Set Jane Seymour

You have this at $18 shipped. 15 people have it cheaper the lowest one is $9 cheaper.

the complete dog book : akc golden anniversary edition hardcover book

You have it just over $20 shipped. 7 competitors have it as low as $13.82 shipped.

Starbucks mug that you listed yesterday, yours is almost the most expensive one listed of the same mug.

I uses to have at less 1 view after I listed a new item ALWAYS, how days with on view on a new listing. This is EBAYs doing and nothing less.

The pandemic and the after affect of wanting to stay home created thousands of new sellers too. Another factor to consider. Thousands.
