Tips on how to restore former selling options (ads, higher inventory count, etc)?

Hey everyone - I started selling on eBay back in Jan 2020 and built a really strong process where I was able to sell a decent amount of items weekly and ship/ deliver on time. I had great customer reviews coming in as well.

Fast-forward to March 2022, I purchased a new home and relocated which disrupted my process and I ended up canceling a lot of orders because I didn't know which box/ storage location I had the sold item in or ended up shipping late.

About a month ago, due to the late shipping and canceled orders I had my eBay options limited.

I'm now fully settled into the new house, have all my inventory sorted and organized and have a nearby post office route that will allow me to ship quickly again, but my account has been downgraded and I'm trying to learn some tips or gain perspective on how I may be able to best restore my account so I can run ads again and get more of my inventory listed.

Any tips or advice?

Nothing will help change your 'status' except positive sales that you ship on time. The more that happens, the faster it will change. Typically 3-6 months worth of doing things 'right' can change it, although depends on the amount of sales.

By the way; the Post Office will pick up packages right from your porch (just have to do a 'pick up' on their website) and you can print labels right here on ebay.

Hindsight is 20/20, but the minute you realized you would not be able to fill orders you should have immediately taken down all your listings.

eBay's expectations are pretty clearly spelled out in the seller dashboard, as are the consequences of not meeting those expectations.

eBay is not very forgiving of sellers who cancel orders or fail to deliver them in a timely manner. The best you can do is study your seller dashboard, figure out what you need to do to restore your seller rating, and try to accomplish that. There really is no secret tip or trick, and it could be a long slow process.
