Thoughts on European Sales Booster by Webinterpret

Hello,

I am thinking of opening a shop on my other eBay account. I was just wondering how other sellers have found the European Sales Booster feature? Have you seen an increase in sales? Is it worth it to setup a featured shop for £70 for it?

I've always sold internationally.

But all I do is give a shipping price for overseas sales.

I use "free" shipping for Canada (domestic)and USA , and charge a Flat Rate for Europe,UK,Germany, France, Japan and Australia.

For the rest of the world, I have enabled "Ask seller  for shipping cost."

I get about two overseas sales out of 30. (I just looked and was surprised it was that high.)

However, since you are in the UK, you should be asking this on your home site (UK) because I don't think that option is available on dotCOM or dot CA.

I recently ended my Webinterpret connection. Originally when I signed up about Four years ago I was getting one or 2 sales a day and it was great. After time though the sales dried up and I was getting 2-3 sales a month and it wasn't worth the price I was paying them anymore. Be aware certain listings will get flagged by other countries that normally would be fine in your own country. I did like the ability to have my international listings show free shipping because otherwise the shipping looks extreme.

My question is it free or not?

European Sales Booster is included under our Featured Shop subscription, ebay UK advertises "European Sales Booster powered by WebInterpret is free programme help sellers list items internationally. Once you activate, your listings will automatically translated and placed on major international eBay sites."

But now WebInterpret wants to charge us  5.5% + €1.09 per transaction.

Is this the case please? or we are receiving special treatment 😞

@midnight-club

This is an old thread from 2023 & this person does not appear to be selling anything anymore.

This is also a US community discussion forum.  What applies in your country Concerning eBay may not apply here in the US or other countries.  You may be better served by logging out of ebay.com and logging back into ebay.com/uk/  Here's your community forum link that may be helpful:

Good luck getting the help and advice you need!
