Those hidden items found on product prep

Prepping a spendy coat to list and I'm going through the pockets.

Wut?

Re: Those hidden items found on product prep

I find my best haul comes after we've had large family gatherings.  Seems my kids, their spouses, and their kids have a hard time keeping their change in their pockets.  So once every couple of months, we pull our dinner money out of the couch, recliner, and other sit-able surfaces and head out.... sometimes to McDonalds, sometime for steak!  🙂

Same goes for our vehicles - the things I find in my truck after youngest has borrowed it for a summer (while he has his kids - it's roomier) are always interesting.  Change is no big deal - pretty common.  But Lego pieces, newspapers, books, doll accessories, scribbled notes (I think my granddaughter leaves those for me on purpose!)... just all sorts of things.  Most are simply set aside until the next time I see everyone, then we figure out what belongs to whom and try to figure out how to keep them from losing it again.  🙂

I did once find a $20 bill on the ground in a parking lot.  Best find in a long time!  🙂

Same thing, but I thought it was a 20, it was 60...I was young and broke at the time.  Seemed like a windfall to me.  Not bragging but this is 50 years, many jobs later and decent SS...60.00 would be a really nice lunch.  Or my water bill.

In my carnival days we called those a 'ground score', and always kept our eyes on the ground.
