I know this has been posted a million times. But it’s sickening. I have buyers who make offers. Then never pay. Can’t even get a response after 4 days. I CANNOT LEAVE THEM NEGATIVE FEEDBACK TO WARN OTHER SELLERS.
But if a buyer was to lie and want a return on an item. The seller is forced to pay up. YouTube removed the dislike button. eBay removes the ability for sellers to leave buyers negative feedback. We truly live in a censored world lol

There IS a way to warn other sellers.
Wait the required 4 days.
On the 5th day cancel the sale. Reason: Buyer did not pay.
This will give the buyer a strike.
Two of these strikes and sellers can block this buyer.
Don't forget to put this buyer on your blocked list.
Or you can eliminate this problem all together by not doing auctions or best offers.
List your items buy it now/fixed price with immediate payment required.

Because this is a lot better then a simple. Negative feedback lol.
If this is the case. eBay should allow the seller to know. This buyer has a strike. Be cautious if you accept. Most sellers would not sell if they saw a negative feedback for not paying ….
I sell on eBay. Just as most others do. To help get by in life. When this happens. It hurts sometimes.

Yes, those are the rules here and, by signing up to sell here, you agree that you will abide by those rules.
That includes not ever leaving negative feedback for sellers, a rule that's been in effect for at least ten years.
Are you not cancelling, citing "buyer did not pay" as the reason?

Two of these strikes and sellers can block this buyer? You can block a buyer anytime you want.

What is being said is that instead of manually blocking individual buyers, you can adjust your settings that ANYONE with a certain amount of unpaid strike cannot buy from you automatically.
This is said over and over again, though... Fixed Price Listings with Immediate Payment. Solves the problem of non-payers

I have very few non-paying buyers. I have my settings saved to block buyers with more than 3 non-payments.
I recently sold an item (with a bin and made an offer). I read this buyers feedback and noticed they have over 30 positive feedback with comments about not paying, which I know is against Ebay policy, but I guess Buyer doesn't know and never complained. I am waiting for the 4 days to report non-payment and will then report buyer. Yesterday, I got another sale from this same buyer - I was going to wait to add to my BBL until he is reported for non-payment - but don't want him to buy anything else from me.
This buyer should be thrown off Ebay, but we all know Ebay doesn't throw buyers off and we are protected from these buyers by blocking them, but somehow the block has not affected this buyer.
As frustrating as a non-paying buyer is, I honestly would rather have a non-paying buyer than a bogus return, which costs me shipping 2 ways. I just don't know why this buyer has so many strikes and keeps buying.
