18 1/2 days - 100 views - 6 watchers - no offers - no emails - nothing but, silence. Lots of interest but, apparently, no interest. lol December better prove to be an awesome month here! Good luck to all. 🙂

People still watch television? With commercials?
Absolutely! I record most of what I watch but sometimes I still watch the commercials instead of fast forwarding through them and with being recorded I can always go back and watch it again if I like it.
Right now I'm really loving the car commercial where the guy gets 2 vehicles for Christmas giving .. one for himself and one for his wife ... he gets a SUV and a truck ... guess what, wife wants the truck! LOL. That would be me .. the girl who absolutely would choose the truck over the SUV.

But I have a 15 inch monitor and in the living room a 50 inch TV.
We have a 50 inch flat screen as well and one big ole 36 inch heavy [ not the newer hang on the wall version] still sitting on our porch we can't even give away for free . The picture and sound are perfect ,, but nobody wants it . Tulips

Watchers just don't seem to translate into sales. When I want something, I don't watch it, I buy it. auctionpet
That's true from a sellers standpoint , watchers don't always mean a sale . However just speaking as a buyer I often put things on my watch list and then buy them when I get paid or make a sale . Just did this yesterday and now I'm nearly finished with Christmas shopping . 🙂 Tulips

If its on the hour or half hour you can just about bank on it . 😞 I swear if I see one more '' Hi I'm Marie and I lost 50 pounds '' and I'm going to go crazy .. Tulips

Hi Alan@eBay,
I have always used a red background to help my listings pop out. I heard that Google prefers solid white backgrounds and re-naming the image the item you are selling (example: Nikon 55-300mm Auto Focus Lens.jpg). Here is a listing I shot with white, eBay item 352531860750. Here is a listing with the red, eBay item 223262335181.
Like all the others who are experiencing decreased sales this year I am trying so hard to comply with the new search engine and algorithm. Thank you in advance for any tips.Hi @jeweloftheheart,
I like your photos! I think they look really good. I'm not sure about the images with text though. Search engines probably don't like those. I haven't heard about renaming the image before, that could be a thing that Google prefers.
You'll find image guidelines on this Google help page: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324350?hl=en
Thanks.
Yes, It is google that likes that. That part I suggested did not come fron eBay itself.

I have dish and not one eBay commercial. Either that or they don’t run on A&E, movie channels and flea market flip.

Watching "watchers" will drive a seller crazy and doesn't mean a sale will ever come. It may be fun when you have that oh so rare item, but the rest of the time I am learning to never sort by watchers and sort by ending soonest just to keep tabs on what will need to be relisted when. Half the watchers are other sellers, half are curiosity, another half (wait, three halves?) alright another third are potential buyers. Watching watchers is hope, and hope is not a strategy.
