eBay just can't leave it alone. It's become obvious that everyday, all of the eBay programmers manicure and groom their little baby, or should I say their large cash cow, that is promoted listings. I have never seen a suggested ad rate with hundredths of a percent. My other 300 listings are all showing recommendations to the tenth of a percent, as usual. I guess it's in BETA!

I would like to promote my listings at 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510%, but only for one day each year.

Suggested rate is an example. You can either use the “Suggested Rate” or chose your own.
Regarding the Suggested ad rate with hundredths of a percent. It could just be a typo in the decimal placement.

I've never seen a suggested ad rate because I don't look at the ad rates.

Yes, it probably is a typo in the decimal placement. It should have read: Suggested ad rate: 105.4%

LOL yea I saw it too. So for my $20 dollar item, a hundredth of a percent is a fifth of a penny.

Granular, baby!

Anyone remember how much the boys in the movie Office Space made over the weekend, and how they did it?

Yep, I just noticed that several of my listings have a suggested ad rate into the hundredths. hmmmm... Office Space flashbacks for sure.

I think it was a tad over 100k because Michael Bolton misplaced a decimal somewhere. That no talent azz clown.

Surprisingly, eBay won't let you enter over 100%. Good for them. 🙄

Yes, it is good to know that eBays has our backs and draws the line at taking 113% (give or take a few points depending on category) of the total price paid including shipping and state tax. 🙄

I am just Mind-Blown😳 10.54% MORE of the ENTIRE SALE they are asking you to pay ON TOP OF the already maxed out regular final value fees of 13.25% of the ENTIRE SALE - In my opinion this company has some nerve considering what decent sellers have to put up with in selling online.
People, maybe you dont realize this amount equates to figures approximating 30% to 35% or even more of your ITEMS SELLING PRICE! Wake up and quit drinking the Kool-Aid! If you agree to pay these rates, and sell an item for $50 that you own for $25, then that means the site takes something like $15 of your $25 profit! 60% for them 40% for you! - and dont forget, you still have to cover all extraneous business expenses like gas, office expenses, shipping material, etc, etc, etc, etc,. Aaaaand, aaaaand the paltry amount you do get, cannot even be considered to be yours for 6 months until after your sale jumps through all the fiery hoops of buyer fraud tactics...
But hey, maybe I'm uninformed and they plan on taking all these extra funds the sellers are giving them to fix ALL the things that have been wrong with the site for years - and who knows, maybe even start a new program for sellers called something like "The-Guaranteed-Fraud-Proof-Sale" and maybe...............Naaaaaaaaaaaaa

“Don’t ever say I never tried to look out for you” -ebay
Or maybe it’s because eBay managed payments cannot pull any more than 100% of your payment received.
