I sold 2 crystal eggs (bloodstone) to an individual . I sent him a message stating that I would send them as soon as possible. He told me to send them. So I sent them. So 2 months later this person dispute the same transaction through his bank stating that it was an unauthorized charge. I immediately sent paypal screenshots of our message, the tracking and shipping number and the date it was sent. The next day they closed the case in his favor. Leaving me with no eggs, a charge back of the original $32 this person paid and a $20 fee for the chargeback. I sent more documents. I called paypal and asked why didnt the person go through ebay and say that it was an unauthorized charge, they didnt respond to it, nor have they contacted me stating they recieved the screenshots (proof) that this individual indeed made a purchase. When viewing his account he also made a purchase 1 month ago which was 1 month after the purchase he made from me. Now i am without my products and my money paid for it.
Sent him a message a few days ago....no respond. not sure how to handle this but im quite upset and I have been robbed.
So, what I know now is even if someone paid and shows proof Paypal will refund thier moneys and take it out of your account as well as a $20 chargeback if someone opens a dispute through thier bank. Beware of this.

Unfortunately, because your tracking number does not show that you shipped to the buyer's address, you lost the unauthorized transaction case.

@lovelytings It is against board policies to post an individual's information. You should report your post to the moderator and ask them to edit the post for you (click the 3 dots in upper right corner).
The tracking # shows "status not available". If PayPal can't confirm the item was shipped to your buyer they are not going to rule in your favor.
From USPS:
The tracking number may be incorrect or the status update is not yet available. Please verify your tracking number and try again later.

@lovelytings, unfortunately, you made a mistake when you entered the tracking number into eBay and/or PayPal. You shipped it as a First Class Package, so the number should have started with 94, not with 95. I tried changing it, but there must be other mistakes in the number as well, because even starting with 94, the number you provided is not a valid USPS tracking number.
It may be too late, but if you can find the correct tracking number, that is your only chance of appealing this.
Chargebacks are always filed with the credit card company. It means that the card owner is saying that some unknown person used their credit card, so supposedly it wasn't the eBay user who filed the chargeback, it was the person who owned the credit crd they used.

Great new's you have aquired some great feed back here...alway's get USPS eBay or Pay pal tracking # ! Then you are sure to get things to fall in your favor...never post personal names here in this community or selling information photo's...you will get remarks without showing all these tranactions. Precedure is important in a case...live and learn as we have all marched down that sliding road of disappointments...pull up your sleeves and find some GREAT buyer's that will love what you do best...getting items in the right appreciated hands...YOU ARE GREAT...just a bad experience...chin up!!! 🙂

95 is used when the postage is purchased at the counter - it's for retail pricing.

@d-k_treasures, thanks, that's good to know.
Unfortunately, its easy to make a mistake when you're typing in a 22 digit number.
