There is kindness out there...

Recently, I sold two sterling silver lots. The trouble is I mixed up the lots and mailed the wrong item to both customers. I wasn't sure how to handle this, so I simply confessed my era to each customer. To my surprise they were both very kind and understanding. They both agreed to send the package they received in error to the correct recipient. One customer insisted that I don't reimburse her the extra shipping cost! It's refreshing to see that there is still kindness and understanding in this crazy world.

Feeling Thankful

That is the right thing to do..and it does happen...sometimes. I myself have gotten two sellers mishaps and I always mailed them forward to the correct recipient with no problems ( 1 seller even sent me a little gift for my trouble!) On the selling side, when I sell lots of any kind, I make a list of what's in the box, put the list in the box than compare what has been sold to the list and write their name on list. I know I use the word " list" a lot..but basically it's check, double check, than a make sure ✔, so this never happens again! I'm glad you had great customers esp dealing with silver pieces.
