EBay promotes selling on their platform, yet when a seller sells their items EBay steals the money! EBay sends a bogus money transfer letter with all pertinent information blacked out so the banks can NOT find the transfer! What are you hiding EBay?!! If you sent the money why not provide the required information?! Or reverse the transfer…NO why because you are THEFTS!!

@sssupershopaholic Read what @femmefan1946 wrote a bit closer. If you are calling and talking to Ebay, then you are NOT using either of the first two methods being suggested as the way to contact Ebay.

Thank you mam, but this is not the only time I have tried to contact them nor the only way. I have tried all avenues. Thank you for trying to help though. I truly do appreciate it.

Ebay, a 25 billion dollar company ($25,000,000,000) is trying to steal $200-$300 from you?
I am so puzzled as to why so many people think ebay is out to get them?
06-19-2023 11:21 PM
How did they get to be a $25 billion dollar company?? $200-$300 x several thousand a year = what exactly??
Question
1. Where is the money I sold my item for?
2. Why will they not cooperate and send me the documentation I need?
3. Why does the story keep changing and the timeline disappears?

When you talked to your bank, did you give them the bank reference ID given to you by eBay when they sent the payout?
06-19-2023 11:52 PM
Did you actually get an email and a message showing in your ebay messages from ebay that states "We sent your payout?" If you don't have that message, your money wasn't released yet.
Are you waiting for the money from the May 31 sale? Or is it the April 19 sale payment you're waiting for?
Since those are the only 2 items you've sold recently and neither buyer has left feedback, your funds might just be held and haven't yet been transferred to your bank.

Have you had an ebay payout successfully sent to your bank account before? Or have they all failed?

All successful before. Only this one, but one agent I spoke to said they had issues with the payment @3:00 am they had to resend it at 5:00.

You're missing my point.
Did you ever stop to think that MAYBE just maybe this is a mistake?
Maybe this is an error on your part or an error on ebay's part.
I've been selling her for over 20+ years.
I've never had ebay steal my money.
I've never seen ebay steal someone else's money.
Ive heard people ACCUSE ebay of stealing their money, but in the end it was a mistake.
Ebay is not out to get you.
Ebay is not stealing your money.
Whatever happened there is a logical explanation for it.
I hope you can get it worked out.

Amazing logic here. Because Ebay makes 25 billion a year, they would never short a seller a few hundred dollars. Its just not possible for them to do such a thing. And their top officers would never go after and terrorize anyone who was exposing negative things about them either. Oh wait,...they did.

Anything is possible. But I don't think they would do it intentionally.
If I did, I would never do business with them.
Would you?

Unfortunately I did speak to several agents on call and even 2 members of the management team. As I mentioned the story keeps changing. One minute they say that they can send me the documentation that I need and after several days of no response or no documentation on a call back I am told that they will not be sending any?!!
