Why first it said "The parcel is in the GLS delivery vehicle to be delivered in the course of the day" and than few hours latter "The parcel is stored in the GLS warehouse"? 

Weird.

Why aren’t you asking the courier service this question? All we can do here is make wild guesses.....and my guess is that maybe they didn’t have time to deliver it before the end of the day?
