Have you ever noticed almost every time you call ebay for anything other than the most simple of things they must call their own customer service department.?
It's kind of weird.

The CS on the call are not empowered to assist. They read from a script typically.
Contact e-Bay CS on social media if you have a serious issue.

The ONLY place? Nope...........I've had to contact a couple of companies lately over questions and every one has had to put me on hold and check with their supervisor........Front line CS is good for, as you say, simple stuff.........beyond that they need help............
