Did you mean:

The new "revise" a listing format.

The new "revise" a listing format sucks!
Translation: It's different and I don't like change.
I'm considering quitting ebay (as soon as I sell all my stuff).
I predict this is the downfall of ebay.

and did you know, that after you fight through this diabolical plot to destroy 'murica and at last list your item, if you sell it, you HAVE TO PAY FVFs ON SHIPPING?????????????????????

eBay is dead.

Re: The new "revise" a listing format.

Seriously, though, I think a new tranche of sellers just got rolled into the new listing form.  I understand the confusion - eBay has done a pizz poor job of any kind of in-line tutorial which would help a lot, but there is one thread after another about it - I don't know why people can't actually LOOK to see if there's a thread started about it already before running in and beginning yet another so that information and help fails to be consolidated.

Agree. The new format has caused my sales to drop 50% just in the last 2 days alone.

Every day the board overflowed with complaints about the new listing tool. Besides some users are annoyed by extra mouse clicks and bugs, most criticism is completely void of substance. If you are so bothered by it that you want to quit eBay, why don't you hit the feedback button to help eBay to help yourself and other sellers? Complaints like this don't seem to serve any purpose.

Most eBay listings I've come across contain the bare minimum item specifics and barely any description that don't seem to require much effort to begin with and are hardly affected by the changes.

And look what it's doing to the stock prices.

I want to sell all my stuff so I can quit eBay.  I just hope eBay and myself will be around long enough to accomplish this.

Re: The new "revise" a listing format.

I was dreading the day I was forced into the hell that everyone's been complaining about with the new listing format. OMG! That day came for me today, October 4th!

Before today I always have used "sell similar" when listing with the old format, then just modifying what was necessary to create the new listing. Let's say it used to take 10 minutes to do that. Now, being forced against my will into the new listing format for the first time today, I timed it and it took me an entire 13 minutes. That's a whole 3 minutes longer! Now that simply sucks for a guy who gets his knickers in a twist over the dreaded term "change" (I also get a kick out of telling neighborhood kids to get off my lawn).

I'm with @inhawaii ... I think I'll go overboard and throw out the baby with the bath water by deleting my entire inventory just before this year's lucrative holiday season. That'll teach eBay a lesson or two, and I'm sure they'll come crawling back to me asking for my forgiveness and a promise they'll go back to the old listing format (along with a year's store fees suspended just for me). Now that's how important those 3 extra minutes are to me!

I don't wanna hear about "keeping things in perspective", even though I say it quite often on this forum.

Cheers, Duffy
