1000 are not enough and 10000 are too many.
We need a 5000 Store package.
= = =
Premium Store package Up to 1,000 fixed price + up to 500 auction-style
Anchor Store package Up to 10,000 fixed price + up to 1,000 auction-style

What about Super Store allowing 5000 fixed and 1500 auction listing for $149.95 (annually)

(as of today Premium 1000 $59.95 can be upgrade to Anchor 10000 $299.95 and it is too much money for small sellers)

I feel the same way about the jump from Anchor store (10,000) to Enterprise store (100,000).

How about something in the 20-25,000 range? I could fill that easily. Instead I am forced to hold back.

That is not an oversight on eBay's part, that is by design.

ebay is hoping that sellers such as yourself will pay them an extra $200.00 a month for those 2,000 extra listings.

eBay still has that same mind set that cell phone carriers had back in the 1990's.

This has been mentioned many times and Ebay chooses to ignore it hoping that the Seller will either go with the Anchor Store or pay the additional 10 cents per listing over 1000 listings.  What many sellers have begun doing is opening a second selling account and using 2 premium stores as it is considerably cheaper that way.  You might want to look into it as Ebay has completely ignored that gap between Premium and Anchor Stores intentionally since they began this current program.

I has a CS rep suggest that to me. But my objection is that whenever anyone visits my store (or in your case, one of my stores) they are only seeing half of my inventory.

I have also been led to believe that a second store would be considered a “new” store and subject to the selling limits that new accounts are burdened with.

Or is there a loophole to those?

i.e.- a link that says:”

Visit my eBay store, then visit my other eBay store

You can always put a link or mention the other store in your listing, but I choose to put a different inventory in he second one.  I have my nicer items in one and low end in the other and it has worked out well for me.  As for the limits, I contacted Ebay and they linked the 2 accounts together and gave me more than enough limits for the second store and even said if that was not sufficient to call back in 30 days and they would increase it.  The only thing I have increased since is the quantity limit as the $ limit was way more than enough.

I still wish that Ebay would offer an option between premium and anchor but have realized that like everything else with Ebay, it is not about what will help the Sellers but only about what will help Ebays bottom line.  Unfortunately they are to naive in retail business to realize that it would benefit their bottom line to have a mid range store as that would potentially really increase sales, but I think that Ebay realizes they have ruined their platform and search engine and are now looking for ways to increase their income despite dropping sales.  Hence the push of promoted listings, managed payments, increased FVF on Sellers who exceed Ebays imaginary Peer group for SNAD's, and pushing sellers that do not have stores to do so as they need that revenue to survive until managed payments comes into play full time.

Personally, I think that Ebay is going to be in for a shock when they eliminate Turbo Lister as to how many listings they are going to lose, hence stores.  Then when they force Managed Payments on everybody, I believe that will be another huge drop in revenue or should I say drop in sales revenue as the trust among buyers and sellers with the security of their system when they cannot even get the easy part of the platform to work glitch free is just not there.  Ebay better hope that they do not get hacked right after that starts or that will cause a huge drop in confidence with all customers.  On top of that Ebays lack of transparency does not help them because personally I doubt that Ebay would ever disclose that they were hacked again after what happened the last time they announced it.

Time will tell as will the push by the shareholders for Ebay to spin off the other companies and focus on the marketplace is bound to have a lot of bearing on where Ebay goes in the future.

Chirp! Chirp!

What if instead of storefront fees they just charge certain amounts per listing?  For auctions starting under $1 and free shipping the listing should be free, or one cent.  For buy it nows with price+shipping under $10, ten cents.  Under $20, twenty cents. And so forth...  How hard would a system like this be???  'No no no lets run a sham instead'

I get 10,000 listings for a monthly fee of $300.00 (i.e. 3 cents each). Anything over 10,000 is 5 cents each.

So your 10-20 cents would NEVER fly.

It'd be nice also if you could buy a extra listings package.  I haven't had a listings promo in a while.   And I have to now pick and choose at end of month what to put up.   I don't want to upgrade yet because sales being so wishy washy at times.

I LOVE your signature quotes!

This has come up many times through the years, though, and Ebay has never added that middle tier that has been requested.  Supposedly they want people to make the leap of faith to the top, more expensive tier since there is no middle one.

Many have expressed your wish to no avail, I'm sorry, but one can always hope.

It seems that no one on eBay is monitoring this board.
Staying silent is not an answer. It is an offensive message ignoring us. Even a negative response would be more understandable and appreciated
