I don't know if I did something wrong but the zoom format doesn't look as usual and everything has changed. How can I go back to the classic zoom system?
I noticed the same change today. When you zoom you can't see the whole item. Definitely not an improvement! While it's extra work what I have been doing is to right-click on the image and then open in a new tab.
The whole page is arranged differently now. Well I'm talking about on my laptop, assume you are too. Yeah even the string of other photos is under the current photo, instead of next to it. Also when you start to scroll down the page, first only the seller info on the right side scrolls down to the bottom, then the rest of the page scrolls down. So weird.
I don't understand why they have to change when everything is fine and comfortable It happened with the eBay format when it was very comfortable and when they changed to the new format to put things up for sale, nobody liked it.
For the last 3 days , I had the new format with the large photos & the weird zoom where you couldn't see the whole thing at once. Although the larger pictures were kind of nice, the rest was not an improvement! I thought my new computer was going crazy as I didn't see anyone mentioning it at first. But then I looked at the buyer's board & ebay pinned to the top "We are testing a new View Item experience on desktop."
So it's a test. Anyways my listings are back to the old format as of this morning. I am using a desktop with Chrome. As usual, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The old format is better. Short-sighted people will not be able to see well. I didn't like it. I had to strain my eyes to see well. I hope it continues as always
