Is it my imagination that ebay continues to fix pre existing procedures that are not broken in the name of progress? I would love to join Elon Musk to investigate this issue. My only answer is it to continue their employment, when in fact they make issues more difficult and should be mowing lawns if that doesn't tax their skills ? A lot of users I speak with express their frustration with the current difficulties that I experience. Thank you.

Just what is the connection between Musk and eBay that he would investigate anything involving eBay?
Oh! The lamp you have listed is antique car (not Ford) not railroad.

What preexisting procedures are you referring to?
I would think Mr Musk has better things to do than investigate eBay policies.
What are the difficulties you experienced?

Would you also currently like to drive a Tesla?

I agree ebay has made the site more user unfriendly but Musk is like the kiss of death nowadays. It may cause a mass exodus if he joined ebay.

Frustration?
Difficulties?
What is so frustrating?
What is so difficult?
I list. I sell. I get paid every day. It's not rocket science.
Sure the site will have a temporary glitch every once in a while but what website doesn't?
Sure they make changes once in a while that you may not like.
You adjust to the changes and move forward.
P.S. If Elon Musk investigates ebay, will he come up on stage with his prop chainsaw?
I thought that was so classy. He's a class act.

Actually I think a lot of the coding here is generated by contract programmers, either here in the U.S. or elsewhere. A lot of the shipping label coding came from European programmers who first wrote it for eBay UK. Bug fixes would go a lot quicker if the original authors of the code were on-staff, but it does not appear that they are.

Adequate documentation is a huge problem in IT - somehow it's not considered movefastandbreakthings-worthy, stodgy and definitely not sexxxy. 🙄

I think you misunderstand the role of Elon Musk. He has no right or legal ability to go into Ebay and do as he wishes with or without cause. Ebay is NOT a government agency.
This thread would likely be more fruitful for you if you would tell us exactly what you are having problems with. Details would help.

Were you not included in the group text with the Ebay ceo's about upcoming policy changes?

Unless you give specific examples of the "pre existing procedures that are not broken" that eBay continues to change, I have no idea if it is your imagination or not.
I remember a few years ago there were some sellers here absolutely trashing the Seller Hub and claiming it a was a total disaster. I, on the other hand, found it to be a massive improvement that made it much easier to manage my orders and my listings and my shipping.
So it might not be a matter of "is it your imagination", but rather it may simply be a matter of opinion.
