So how many like the idea of buyers with very low feedback have 24 hours to pay for item versus 4 days and people with lot of feedback have 4 days to pay plzs comment so Ebay sees all the people that like my idea

If you want your buyers to have to pay immediately, list fixed price, immediate payment required.
Buyers' previous FB should not determine how long they have to pay. For some of us, buyers are already scarce, we do not need new obstacles thrown into the buying path of new buyers.
Will be interesting to see how many sellers like your idea.

Is there an impetus for this? Really not understanding -are you having issues with your Buyers? You realize this is a member to member board - e-Bay isn't going to see your "informal poll"?
It would be like saying older buyers should get more time and younger buyers who grew up with technology less time.
So to answer your question - no, I do not like your idea. Whatever e-Bay implements has to be the same for ALL buyers, regardless. And we get a lot of zero FB buyers. Believe it or not, there are still people who shop on this site each day and are "new". Discouraging any buyer from wanting to shop here on an irr-regular basis would not be a smart business practice for e-bay or their Sellers.

There is ZERO correlation between a buyer's feedback number and their likelihood of making a quick payment.
I very rarely get non-payers or even slow-payers but when I do they are just as likely to have thousands of feedback as a handful of feedback.
Your listings are all fixed price so just set Immediate Payment Required and your non-payment issue will go away*.
* Immediate Payment doesn't work if you accept an offer so you need to decide if Best Offer is actually doing more for you in terms of sales that might make up for a few non-payers.
Into your life it will creep

I don't do auctions or best offers, but I like the immediate payment required myself.

A seller can give his customer as much time to pay as he likes.
If an item goes unpaid for 96 hours, a seller can then open an Unpaid Item Dispute (UID).
- Sellers in the USA can reduce this to 48 hours.
After the UID has been opened the buyer has 96 hours to pay before the transaction is negated and the seller gets his fees back.
This has been the standard since I started here in 1998.
Sellers who use Fixed Price listings can opt for Immediate Payment Required (IPR) and the item stays visible and available until someone actually pays. With IPR there is no need to wait for payment, because everything is paid immediately.
The 15% of less of transactions that are run as Auctions have more UIDs than the 85% of transactions that are run as Fixed Price, whether they opt for IPR or not.

Don't like your idea at all.
High feedback buyers are actually the ones I have the most problems with.

I'm not a high volume seller by any means, but I've never seen any difference between low and high feedback buyers. It always pleases me to have a zero FB buyer because I like to feel I can give them a welcome and "good start" by having a successful transaction. Wouldn't seem fair or reasonable to me to have different rules for new buyers.
Like others have said, I almost always use "Immediate Payment Required", mainly so I can plan when I will need to ship sold items (don't like "loose ends").
