Since I started Stitches and Seams USA over 2 years ago, my photos have evolved. I remember when I first started, I would take items and lay them on that brown paper used to cover floors when painting. I went through an evolution of laying them on my hardwood floors, to white backdrops, and now, to a unique, custom built light system which illuminates my items from all sides, while creating a perfect white void background on my mannequin, Jinnie.
(yes I named the mannequin, she deserves it, she works hard)
As of right now I use a 10mp camera with custom tethering and computer programs, as well as iphone remote systems. I can't wait until sales pick up and I can get an 18mp camera, although Im not sure if that will even make a difference in quality (I bet it will though)
