REDUCE YOUR PRICES!
I was reminded the other day, to turn merchandise into cash asap with lower pricing.
eBay was once the place you went to for great prices. So what happened to all the great deals? And could we get that eBay back?
Retail stores are beating online pricing.
Meanwhile:
Shipping costs went up.
Sales taxes were added.
Other sales fees went up well.
Supplies, labor, etc., all went up.

Those blankets are interesting, did they come in tobacco cartons or how did somebody obtain them?

Yes they came with Egyptienne cigars or cigarettes or something like that, similar to the more modern baseball cards with bubble gum or whatever it was back in the day.
My great great uncle immigrated here from Poland, was only here for about 6 months looking for a better life and to send for his expecting wife before he died but he had collected them. His wife came from Poland, and her baby here, retrieved her deceased husband and his belongings, and they went back to Poland. The blankets were passed around my family in Poland until 1985 when grandma's cousin brought them back to the states and gave them to my grandma. In my family for over 100 yrs!

I switched from auctions to BINs with make me an offer. That way people can throw out a price they think is reasonable and I can accept it or make a counter. However, this only works if you're comfortable haggling with people a bit, which I am. Best of luck to you!

I'm sorry, but sadly, I must beg to differ with you. Based on the current state of ebay, I'm not sure reducing your prices will get you more sales - In fact, increasing your prices may be the way to go for a short term sales boost.
In searching for items, I cannot believe some prices I'm being shown right off the bat - Wickets that most people are selling for around $25, other sellers have listed for $75 or even more, and when you do a search of sold items you are amazed to find that many of those prices gouged items were chosen over the much lower priced items.
There are a lot of people who aren't shoppers - just buyers - they buy what they are led to buy based on the internal workings of search engines to optimize profit.
The seller who has their Wicket listed at $75 is likely using Promoted Listings at 40% to 50% gaining a huge advantage in search - The more sellers take this road, the more the low priced items are getting flooded out of search and may not even be seen by the potential buyer - Its a short term win-win situation for ebay and for the sellers who begin to promote this way .
I mean really, given the company's dire need to show growth and profit, which item do you think they would rather you buy? - The $75 item or the $25 one - Which one are they more likely to show you or entice you with?
Thats why you are seeing over-priced items early in search and it will only get worse...and believe me, that person who is a buyer, not a shopper is seeing it a lot more than you, depending differing your online behaviors - Thats the way these search engines are being optimized -
This type of short term strategy runs contrary to long term vision and viability - This will likely make it harder for a company in a tail spin to pull out of it, when the word on the street that a sites items are over-priced and you should shop elsewhere become more common. In my humble opinion, this is the type of strategy that has kept this site on its heels over the last 10 years..
So again, if you are looking for a short term sales boost at the expense of long term progress, then you may want to consider increasing your prices - and believe me, saying this is in no way an endorsement to this way of thinking - in fact it is the exact opposite...

How much?

I search by the newest listing first, then the lowest price.
And yes, the promoted listings above what I want to look at are rather annoying, especially when I want the lowest price and those promoted & sponsored listings shown first aren't even close.

IMHO it also tells buyers that all your stuff is overpriced. But the key is, if it works for you, that is all that matters.
