Thank you! Today was my turn to be dumped into new listing form.

Many, many thanks to everyone who has posted on this board during the last year about the horrors peculiarities of the new listing form!

Without all those comments and sad stories from other laptop users, I might have never been able to list an auction this afternoon.

Having read about all the pop-ups and the strange placements of information I needed, I was able to list in only 3 times the time it would have taken me with the old form.

Again, I am most grateful to you all!

Re: Thank you! Today was my turn to be dumped into new listing form.

It took them 6 months, but they finally got my final account today.    I was wondering why I went 10 days without a sale on this account, and then I saw that the account had been converted to the new listing format.  The same thing happened when my other accounts were being converted.

Many more useless recommended item specifics to check out.

Re: Thank you! Today was my turn to be dumped into new listing form.

As a very small time mass lister (20-30 items/day) I have to say I honestly don't think it was designed for mass listers (or anyone, for that matter). It is now requiring more clicks to complete a listing. It is frustrating to me. The classic form used to recognize various keywords throughout our title and would put the "suggested" item specifics in a box at the top of the item specifics section where we could easily click to add them into our listing. Now nothing comes up, so I either have to click to get the drop down menu, scroll down to my selection and then click again, or I have to click, type in the selection, click a checkbox to select it, etc. Too many clicks happening. One click may only take a second or two, but add that up over thousands of listings and it can become a lot. And I know I'm a minnow compared to some sellers in this pond. For people or companies adding hundreds of new listings daily, that's a lot of time lost over a year. I honestly don't know who designed this new listing form but it almost gives me the feeling that they are trying to sabotage the company.
