Hi,
Was just reading through Bob's blog, and I'm getting confused again. The 60 day returns and free return shipping are not required to be a TRS correct? Also do you believe that your listings will be buried for not offering it? How many will offer 60 day return and free returns. I have a major headache over this, and worried about my sales.
Thank you!

Bob's blog says "Consider these performance-boosting adjustments" . IMHO there is nothing about that statement that even hints that they are requirements for TRS.

No.

I don't think anyone has any idea. We'll just have to wait and see.

I just re-read the blog and I do not see that this will be required for TRS or TRS+. And while eBay MAY give some tools that will give sellers with a 60 day free returns a boost, I don't think there will really be many sellers opting in to this. Buyers aren't stupid and when they see they are very limited in their choices in search, they are going to learn to "unclick" those options real fast.
My advice would be to just play it cool and see where you need to or can make some adjustments so your items aren't buried.

Hi, here's the link to ebay's requirements for TRS and TRS Plus.

I offer 30 day returns with free return shipping. Since i rarely get them, it works. I have been doing it this way for the last two years. Would prefer 30 days to 60, though.

I don't think it is required, but I myself have been offering it for quite awhile. I've never had a customer come close to 60 days try to return something. As for the free returns go, I send the labels but 9/10 times the customer doesn't have a printer or whatever so they still go and purchase their own return labels so that I don't have to pay for it. I've so far only had one customer abuse the free returns and exchanges. She has since been blocked. I feel like it does help a bit, but I have no idea how cassini views it.
