I sold more than 1 item to several men. I only entered 1 TN for each man, hoping ebay would go along with this. They didn't. I think it is ABSOLUTE **bleep** that their computer is not set up to recognize what I did. Since I don''t feel it necessary to enter 20 TN if I sell 20 items to 1 person, I am not going to start. I suppose eventually ebay will take action against me, even if in subtle ways. Can I reason with them? Bob

Yes you have to enter each one at a time. You can also copy and paste the tracking numbers.
It is intentionally designed this way to punish people who don't buy eBay shipping labels.

Interesting collections of sold items.
But, yes, you need tracking for each package.

Au contraire...I certainly don't feel punished for not using Ebay labels. I feel relieved. It's totally worth entering tracking one at a time just to know that I can print labels on a shipping interface that actually WORKS all the time, every time, whenever I need it.

I don't use eBay or PayPal for shipping labels and my tracking numbers are automatically loaded to all listings of a combined order. Virtually all online Postage Providers download eBay order info and upload the tracking numbers automatically.

No reasoning needed. You are not required to use tracking.
If you do not want to copy the tracking # and make a few clicks to enter that you do not have to.
TRS may not be of any benefit to you.
If the order was combined, and one payment made the # would cover all.
If you had 20 different sales/payments , how would eBay know the tracking applied # to all ?

I suppose that's one way to do business for a little while until you're out of business. Good luck with that.

OP, I buy my postage at the PO counter (and from what I am reading, isn't that great of a loss of discount money anymore) and I only enter tracking numbers when someone asks about them.
You don't need to enter tracking unless you are looking to be trs. If you ship quickly, there is no need as most buyers don't notice. And the ones that do usually have the package and are trying to find out if I can supply the number and if not, they will file a INR on me so they can get a freebie.
If you want to be trs to get the meager perks, then you have to jump through hoops, that is the way it is everywhere.

I don't klnow who is dumber, ebay or some of the clowns who answered me. I sold 10 items AND SHIPPED THEM IN ONE PACKAGE, but ebay wants 10
TN that are identical. GET IT NOW?

Doesn't matter what you "feel"; it's ebay's rules that count. And I doubt you can reason with them.

Is the whole world on edge right now or something? I've seen posters help multitudes of fellow ebayers with questions & problems on this board, showing great patience and knowledge, but lately, I don't know why they even would want to.
