E-Bay has no common sense at all when it comes to how they judge transactions. Their per transaction strategy has me (the guy selling custom computers) judged by transactions. Then they use the same scale to judge the guy selling pairs of socks. How does that make any sense? Last year I actually sold over 1000 custom computers which is a large number for one guy meanwhile the guy selling the pairs of socks probably averages 1000 sales a day. The margins on new computers are not high enough to support E-Bay Below Standard Tax increase so for the time being I am not longer offering the new products that I use to offer on E-Bay and I am only offering returns from my website. Honestly though I feel like E-Bay forgot it was me who wrote them a $45,000 check last year. No way I am paying $90,000 for the same products and services this year. On top of that the most frustating thing about the situation is that E-Bay gives new sellers a better rate than they give me the vetern who is in the computer trenches all day every day...

Do you look at your seller deashboard? Your customers are angry, and its not hard to understand.
Your customers are mad, you sell used as new, deliver late or not at all, your listings are kind of a joke...and you've got more ego than a room full of A list actors.
Ebay isnt to blame, your ego wrote checks you couldnt cash and now its caught up to you.
Please, if you wont listen to the sellers here, at least read this http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html

So how can OP's current situation be from selling from last year Black Friday?
OP was from August of this year.
I suppose it is immaterial at this point. It is what it is.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html
Sellers with 400 or more transactions over the past 3 months are evaluated based on the past 3 months and sellers with fewer than 400 transactions are evaluated based on the past 12 months.
So um yeah, that kind of disproves the opening post I guess

You are not forced to sell anything. From what you said, that sounds like a suggestion to help you get out of your current situation.

Thank you! That makes sense. Didn't take that into account, that smaller sellers have a carry over of a year. My apologies.

With the women pictures and all the ranting in the listings it's a surprise to me he gets any earnest buyers at all. I also don't understand the name "computers of the future" when he's clearly using marketing techniques from the dinosaur age.
Thanks dog, I know what katie meant. Hah, those kind of women can be expensive.

Yes ma'am!
What about a Territory?

there to show that the particular custom computer does exist (I lead with a background with a model and show the model in the rest of the pictures so that everyone knows that the computer exists) ....
Okay.
2) The main model photo shows the picture quality of the computer...
So would a picture of a puppy or this guy:
3) Who doesn't like looking at a beautiful model???
My personal preference would be this guy: because my fellow women are nice and all that, but not Nathan Fillion.

If you lost (or never had) TRS+ benefits, you should look at why that is.
The guy selling 1,000 pair of socks every day has to work a helluva lot harder than you do at maintaining a good status.
