TEXT ALERTS ?

I've gone over my site preferences this morning  but I don't see an option to receive  a cell  phone  text alert   when a sale has been made  like  a few other sites offer .  I only see an e mail alert  or an instant message .  A cell phone alert  would be more handy for me anyway . Does anyone know if it's possible on e bay ? Thanks

Re: TEXT ALERTS ?

I get the Cha Ching and an email. I don't seem to miss any sales. Same thing happens on another venue.

I get text alerts on my cell every time something sells on another venue I use . I find it to be very handy because I'm not always online.    Because of those alerts  I've been able to ship those items  pretty quickly . I don't have a fancy cell phone  with all the bells and whistles  but it does get text alerts . Like the previous poster mention e bay should consider it ..  Tulips

Re: TEXT ALERTS ?

Install the eBay app and enable notifications.   You can only attach it to one eBay account, but it will notify you of sales on that account.  The cha-ching is gone, but there's a thread somewhere how to attach it to the app notification.  My phone sound is off most of the time so I never bothered.

I don't recommend creating or editing listings using any of the apps as they all have defaults that are difficult to change along with outright bugs.  (For ex. IOS will set your handling charge to $0, unfixed for MONTHS).
