i searched the site where it wanted my SS and saw this.

How exactly did eBay "ask" you to update your tax info?

by msg on ebay and an email, the msg keeps getting sent daily

according to that link it says it is, and on real ebay site the link to update info send me there, doesn't ebay already have my social? the are really holding my funds i'm confused , idk how to reach ebay by beside phone and yesterday i couldnt talk to a real person.

what should i do?

it is not a scam link.....riskremedyweb.ebay.com is a 'newer' page that is used only for initial signup...it is secure...there is a thread elsewhere that has the ebay rep explaining it....

as a web developer, the rating site uses an algorithm that associates the URL with known links/popularity/age and other factors

as LONG AS IT END with ebay.com

it is simply a sub-domain......(of ebay.com)

just like where we are at here...

what you need to watch for is when scofflaws add the "@" sign to legit domains to alter the action of the browser.....
