Suggestion to Ebay....I have listings with Buy 2, get 1 free. When a buyer purchases 2 and does not add 3 items to the cart...the buyer should receive a alert message before paying that they should add 3 to cart and get the 1 item free. My buyers tend to think (even with the buy2, get 1 free, add 3 to cart message in title} that if they put 2 in their cart that they get one free. The buyer must put 3 in cart to get free item. Ebay should show a message alert to the buyer when putting 2 items in their cart. that the buyer will not get their free item unless they put 3 in cart

...I can't recall which online shopping websites that they pop-up a friendly reminder to buyers to add an extra item to shopping cart when check out for buying such quantities they will get one free...
...Amazon...maybe...or WalMart...???

I'd also assume I only need to buy 2 to get the '1 free', since the special is 'buy 2 get 1 free'. Special not set up correctly?
I do hope no matter what, if a buyer does buy 2 you ARE sending the 3rd one and just adjusting your inventory manually until you get it sorted out?
Perhaps use the discount for buying 2+ 3+ etc instead of using buy 2 get 1 free?
