Sudden drop in sales May 2022

I got a message this morning that my Traffic page was being updated on the traffic page. All of my traffic stats were at 0. The more that they continue to work on the site, I feel like it also impacts our sales on top of everything else going on. I don't care what the naysayers say, but I think this site is built in ways that when updates are being made it is affecting our sales. I have felt like this for years.

I want to know whatever happened to BRAEBURN!  They were my absolute favorite, available at all stores that I shopped at, and not expensive like Honeycrisp, but I never see them anymore, at any stores!!  I think the last time must have been at least 10 years ago!  How could a whole cultivar of deliciously tangy, crunchy apples just disappear from the market???!!

Had a sale last night, Orders page says "sold via Promoted Listing" and was charged the PL fee - BUT - on my PL campaign it states "0" for sold count.

This past weekend something happened with Promoted Listings- had to start a new campaign - which took 5-6x to get it to work - no impressions - no views for those tries. Finally got one that is working, registers impressions/views - BUT - I had a sale last night that Seller Hub Orders page shows "Sold via Promoted Listing" and was charged the PL fee in my Managed Payment "all Transactions" section - but as you see below - the campaign isn't recording it - it shows "0" under sold column: 
 

whatever happened to PLs this weekend - its still not fixed / working right - a lot of people have the issue and zero word from ebay about it - we can't sell if PLs don't work - ebay has made it near impossible to sell without PLs now. Just Saying...

I restarted my PL campaign the day before when you had replied to me about 2 days ago. My PL count is very low for the amount that we have sold the last 2 days. Who even knows what they are doing with this again, because as I mentioned earlier my Traffic results page was all messed up this morning. I am even noticing BOLD fonts and all other kinds of changes on my pages. They are for sure playing around with the site again.

All my sales since Nov 1st have NOT been on PL except the one last night, and as I posted above, that sale isn't registered on the campaign. The views count on my listings seller hub are working again, but I reported my account to be added to the list also... suspect though doesn't matter whatever they are doing is causing a lot of glitches etc... and likely there will be more coming - but as you said, impressions are low - they are lower for me also, around 17K, they should be riding 20-22K as par last months impressions for daily.

That is a recent Managed Payments "enhancement" whereby Sellers can use their Available funds to purchase on eBay.  I saw this pop up on my Seller Hub Overview page (pic below) ... what irritated me was the "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the tile would NOT close the darn thing.   It pushed all my other tiles over one position.  I had to close and open again for it to go away.

I have NOT seen it since ... did you "enroll" and are now getting those messages?

I have never enrolled in anything eBay has ever offered me!

I was forced a few times like Managed Payments – but NO!

I've only gotten that once on the Overview page ... I think I remember one eBay Message about it not too long ago but that's been about it.

I have no expendable income from my sales to spend on eBay, or food for that matter!

At the rate my sales are going, with my luck they will bring back “debtors' prison”

They still haven't fixed the cut & paste feature.

yes, but you don't have to enroll in this garbage and give them more control of your money, only if want to...i haven't seen anyone who wants to, but sure people have enrolled in it.

I hope they fix the algorithms they are messing with ... my opinion is that they are gearing up for Cyber Monday ... you may recall that a number of years ago (prior to Covid) Cyber Monday supplanted Black Friday for retailers to make their year in sales ... the volume of items sold that day (and week after I suppose) are astronomical.  

With regard to the recent loss of Views count on the Active list it was explained as a "site-wide" issue ... which to me means they are working on the entire venue programming, not just one specific feature or function.  This Veteran's Day weekend might be a little mini-test for them since a lot of folks are home today ... we'll see and it's just my opinion of course.

Now, having said all of that, it certainly doesn't explain why sales tanked earlier this year other than they could figure out how to improve the changes made to the venue ... 

In any event, I sincerely hope things turn around for you and the rest of us ... debtor's prison ... not good.

I noticed since May of 2022 my sales have been declining rapidly.  In the past 3 weeks I have had 0 sales.  This has never happened to me.  I have been an ebay since 2013 selling designer handbags.  I have called ebay so many times and they have checked my store and said there was nothing wrong.  Ebay informed me stating it is inflation, high gas prices and the war in Ukraine.  If I do not pickup in sales by December 31, 2022 I will be forced to close my store which I love selling handbags.  Anyone else please help so we can all get to the bottom of this where the sellers can contact the right person in ebay and inform ebay them of this dire situation.
