I just received positive feedback from a unpaid buyer (the sale was closed due to lack of payment). This buyer has 0 feedback. They didn't complete the purchase, I didn't ship the item. Yet they say that the shipping was fast and the item was good. Again, they have 0 feedback, no purchases Any thoughts?

I would just put him on my "Blocked Bidder" list and forget it. Maybe he thinks a seller can give "negative" feedbacks to buyers and is trying to head it off by "being nice."

I see a recent feedback for you from a zero-feedback buyer which says, "Great condition! Just as described! Fast shipping".
When I click on the listing number, the listing itself indicates that the item was sold on September 12. The waiting period to cancel a transaction for nonpayment is 4 full days, so I don't think it's possible for you to have closed out a Sep. 12 transaction for nonpayment yet. Is it possible that you are confused about this buyer?

Perhaps they sent the wrong feedback, should have gone to another seller. Though I thought that you couldn't leave feedback on incomplete transaction, such as this one.
Regardless, take the positive.

A buyer can leave feedback before paying, but they cannot leave feedback after a seller has canceled the transaction based on nonpayment.

I cancelled the order due to them saying they were not going to pay. They have no completed purchases. Member since 2019.

My main question isn't how they left feedback...but Why? They didn't purchase, didn't receive, yet they say "Great Condition. Just as Described. Fast Shipping!" Just odd...

Maybe they were confused.
Maybe they're thinking ahead to future auctions or offers where sellers will look at their feedback to see whether they're reliable. Leaving feedback like that for you would imply that they paid for the item and had a successful transaction.

Message them and ask.

"I just received positive feedback from a unpaid buyer (the sale was closed due to lack of payment). "
Maybe I am wrong, but I thought that when you cancelled a transaction for non-payment, the buyer was not able to leave feedback?

This buyer was able to leave feedback because the cancellation was apparently based on "Buyer requested" rather than "Buyer didn't pay." The original poster said in a later post, "I cancelled the order due to them saying they were not going to pay."
