Hello - We're relatively new sellers and have been very pleased so far with eBay, but as I've been setting up my storefront, I've tried a number of times over the past week to set up Store Categories and each time have received an error page saying that eBay's servers are down...which seems unlikely since that's the only time I've been getting that message.
Is there something on my end I need to do to fix this? I've cleared my cache, checked over my listings and settings to make sure I haven't clicked on something weird, etc, but I can't seem to see anything.
It's not an emergency of course, but I do like having the opportunity to make store categories for collectors looking for particular subjects.
Thank you in advance for any advice!

This has been reported here on these forums by a few others lately. It seems to be an account-level glitch that doesn't affect everyone (I can access and edit my Store Categories). I recommend reporting this to eBay by using the "?" icon found on most pages of the main site. The more people that report it, the more likely (and sooner) it will be addressed.

Appreciate it, thank you! It helps just to know it's not just me. 🙂

Why do you have a store? Is it a Starter Store or a Basic Store?

Did you ever get this fixed? I'm having the same issue.

? seems an odd question? They have 275 items listed.

Not so odd. If you look at the listings they now have listed, the vast majority were just listed. They weren't there when I posted my question. So not an odd question with the info that was available at the time of the post.

It seemed evident to me that they were just setting up their store.

Great. It appears you are right. But at the time I made the post, that information was not available. Apparently my crystal ball simply wasn't working correctly. Could be all the wind outside disturbing the vibes.

No need for a crystal ball when one can simply assist the individual with an answer to their question without extraneous comments. Sometimes I really don't understand this forum.

I have no idea why you are so hung up on this. It isn't like we haven't seen new sellers open up stores when they didn't need them. Congratulations, you have more information when you made your post than I had when I made mine. It really is that simple and not hard to understand. But for some reason this really bothers you and it shouldn't. There was nothing wrong with either of our posts.

OP has plenty of items to justify a store. And, no justification needed.
I'm sure you noticed that @chapeau-noir and I had a discussion about this already. I suggest you read the posts and get caught up.

Why? As I explained to Chapeau, when I made my post the OP had only a few listings posted. I was not aware that they were going to post a couple hundred more listings. There was no way for me to know that at the time of my post. Not sure why you think I should have know or how I was suppose to know that.
