Stop with the no/slow sales posts

Obviously if no one is buying your stuff that means no one wants it. When ever someone posts that type of post it’s always some absurd crap like “8 Vintage Buttons Mixed Metal Steels Escutcheon Carved MOP Metal Loop Shanks” and another ridiculous one was that someone was selling some tv parts 😂.

They don't need to stop, and they shouldn't.

If you're not interested in their posts, feel free to scroll past.

You should stop moaning about other peoples posts.

When sellers post about no sales, they do get tips from other sellers which is quite often very helpful, and sales do increase.

If you have nothing to contribute to such a thread, then you should scroll past.

Slow sales posts have been around forever and i doubt they're ever gonna stop.

Kinda like "bidders aren't paying" posts.

I do agree with you that if you're stuff isn't selling ... that means nobody wants to buy what you are selling.

It's not ebay. It's not the search engines. It's not algorithms. It's not managed payments. it's not the alignment of the planets.

I'd appreciate it  if posters would label their post "rants" if they don't want any suggestions or help.....sometimes people do try to help and get  jumped on........

It annoys me when people start lame threads to moan about threads that they think are lame.

I mean............................Just scroll past !

I do it all the time. I scroll past more threads than I read.

...release the vent from high-pressured atmosphere...

Right on!

If someone does not like what they see or hear, they can keep on walking.

I could complain about no sales too, but it's my own doing.  I have no listings!!

And in some cases it is almost a given to scroll on by just by looking at the ID that started the thread. A quick glance at the displayed portion of the post confirms that choice😉

I don't agree with the 'if it doesn't sell, no one wants it' argument.

Some items are long tail.  I had a book that was listed off and on for 5 years, but it did sell.  It was over $100, so I'd say it was worth the wait.  The right person had to be looking for it, as it was pretty rare.  Just this past week I sold a book that had been listed for years.  Same goes for collectibles.  We all don't sell cell phones, cases, and things that sell all the time.  I would hate selling stuff like that.  Give me vintage items any day!

If I post about no sales, I value the opinions of others who post here...well some of them!

It is human nature to attempt to answer what we do not understand.  Sales slow down and sellers look into the tea leaves and come up with all sorts of possible answers ranging from the unknowable Ebay algorithms, to equally baffling economic trends, to just giving up and leaving it all up to that invisible man up in the sky, the proto-Indo-European Sky god, later known as Zeus, Yahweh, and other names.

Stop with the no/slow sales posts

as much as I`d  like to be the hall monitor here I dont think its appropriate for me  to rag about a member form another country posting.

I fail to see what the country has to do with it

the majority of the posters from SL are located in the payments section

things are tough all over and and I would not try to discourage a member from posting no matter how trivial the subject matter is..................like paperclips for instance

if I have a related story to tell abut a question then I like to include it

the MP users are the worst....acting like taxes and shipping dont desreve fees when thats the way it is

maybe  the newer posters  may  not be aware exactly how the FVF are broken down

its easy to become cynical when the regulars know all the answers but thats why we are here........

to help where its needed

I am not sick of hearing about it because it jsut to shows what  bugs some folks

the top 10 complaints are posted over and over again in many variations.that just how it is

keep on ebayin
