Stop telling me to lower my prices

I already have to have my prices at rock bottom and they want me to send sellers a lower offer. I can,t do it and it really **bleep** me off they even try this **bleep** . Also most of the time when I would send offer someone else comes along and pays full price. If I had money I wouldn,t be selling my items. They need to step back and let us do our thing. They are trying to be like the government and tell us what we can and can not do.

Protest this behavior by raising your prices.

They should be given a taste of their own medicine. YMMV

Or, you could just ignore the messages like everyone else.

Re: Stop telling me to lower my prices

eBay isnt here and wont se this post.

Im assuming thats who "they" are.

eBay is about making money for eBay.

eBay is not your friend.

I honestly dont think "they" are trying to be like the government.

I just think eBay doesnt care if you make money or not.

Everything eBay tells you is for eBays benefit.  Stop listening to them. Its business dont take it personal.

Re: Stop telling me to lower my prices

Many sellers here do not have their prices at rock bottom and will accept offers and do send offers. Buyers do not know, so they sometimes ask. eBay does not know, so sometimes they ask.

and it really **bleep** me off they even try this **bleep** .

IMHO it is a waste of time and energy to allow a complete stranger or a company like eBay to affect you in that way.

If I had money I wouldn't be selling my items.

Many people with plenty of money still sell items, because that is how they got plenty of money and how they will continue to have money.

They are trying to be like the government and tell us what we can and can not do.

They are not telling you to do anything. They are simply asking, and you are free to say no.

eBay is desperate for revenue and can count on a small percentage of sellers to heed their advice.

But you have revealed why these messages from eBay are to be ignored.

There may even be a setting to de-activate them.  If there is, I'd love to know about it.

eBay seller since 1999. This is a posting ID.

Re: Stop telling me to lower my prices

You'd be better off not letting random "recommendations" from ebay autobots get under your skin

Delete & forget is the way to go

Re: Stop telling me to lower my prices

Get better at ignoring eBay's suggestions.  That's my advice.  I ignore a lot of what eBay tells us.
