Stock photos not showing up in listings

Nearly all of our stock photo listings no longer display the stock photo once a listing is clicked on.  Photos are only shown in the search listings.  Opened a ticket with eBay and we noticed it across multiple spot checks in multiple categories.  They werent aware but it was across all of ebay from all the spot checks we did.  Anybody experiencing this?

Stock photos not showing up in listings

The images seem to be there when I view the listing.

I checked about 6 listings and at least 3 of them didn't show a picture at all once I clicked into the listing.  Can you try adding them again?

Its only on ebay catalog stock images.  If you're looking at personal images those keep showing up.

not easily.  we have 1100 listings.  Would take hours to locate non stock images and load each listing.  hopefully the IT ticket will fix things.  Seems like something always happens around the holidays with ebay making changes.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue with my listings that contain stock images. It’s been happening for several days now.

Any updates on this issue? This is really creating a headache for those of us who depend on stock photos for our listings.

I've noticed that too on some of my listings.

Been going happening  off and on for about a week.

It''s not just "stock photos".

I just blew  it off as another technical glitch that will eventually get fixed.

Bad news, stock photos are not showing up in my listings either- I have been going through each listing downloading other pictures... this is ridiculous! Buyers won't buy if they can't see pictures of what they want to buy!  VERY ANGRY, about ready to close this whole mess down!!!

inhawaii, I hate to be a messenger of bad news, but this has been going on for over a week and I don't think it will get fixed, because I don't think the powers-at-be give a rat's behind. We sellers whose stock pictures aren't being viewed (because they have been deleted or not uploaded THROUGH NO FAULT OF OUR OWN!) are most probably losing sales, because buyers want to see pics before they buy the item! When I buy anything online, I must see at least one picture in the listing. How much $$$ have we lost??!!

I don't know about the eBay stock images showing up or not, but I have noticed that anything I list with the eBay stock image has very low number of views and never sells, no matter how much I promote the listing or drop the price, and when I replace the stock photos with my own photos suddenly the views go up and the item sells.

I occasionally use stock images for items that are New In Box to show what is in the box. But I include my own (amateurish) photo of my own item to show that I actually have the item in my possession.

I suppose a dropshipper can ask her supplier for their pictures.

But adding 1100 new pictures, ugh.

This might be related to the glitches that were closing down accounts (seller and buyer) over the past week and which are supposed to be fixed.

I don't know the US eBay employees who answer questions on the US Boards. Perhaps someone could reach out to them?
