State sales tax

I am selling a couple of coins I do not have a state business account I do not want to charge sales tax but when I listed my coins Ebay site  won't let me list unless I choose a state and amount for taxes .So I noted California with 8% tax . Now my consern is if I sell the items and the buyer pays the 85 tax , what do I do with the tax money?

Ebay does not force you to charge taxes.  They give you a box, just leave it empty.

Collecting taxes without state authority is a criminal offense.
