What is the advantage of paying for a Starter Store when ebay has now given everyone the same amount of listings (250)? Ebay has once again left the Starter store owners with no upgrade. An upgrade to 350 - 400 listings would have been more appropriate. Instead they mention that it might be a good time to move to a basic store.

250 free listing fees.

For some of us, that's not enough. Plus, after 250 the price of the another over that is 25 to 35 cents just to list.

Honestly, if you are not going to sell a lot, you do not need a store.  it's for when  you are selling more than those 250 items.  And remember, relists come off of that number.  Four relist has you down to 246.

Well, there are a few features of a store that are worthwhile - it isn’t just about the free listings.

I have a starter store and like it a lot.  It enables me to run sales and shut down for a vacation period.
