Sponsored Items Advertised Before They View Your Listing ~ Killing my business

Anyone else fee frustrated that ebay is advertising other people's items on your lisitngs before customers even view your item.  I pay a monthly subscription for people to see my items, and Ebay is not only advertising other people's items on my lisitngs, they are advertising at the top of my listing before customers even see the information on my item.  This is killing my business.  My sales are down 2/3.  Anyone else upset about this?  Ebay is so focused on how to get more fees from sellers.  I get emails about that all the time.  What are they doing to attract buyers?  It is so disturbing how they are structuring listings to lead people away to listings for other people.  Anyone feeling the same?

Yes, when 2 rows of ads appear before my listing I think this is extremely bad presentation to buyers.  It is also inconvenient for me as a seller, as when I am packaging items for sale I have to scroll down to see each item's scans to verify I am picking the correct items to mail, whereas before this was NOT necessary.  So it takes more time to mail sold items.

When COVID hit in early 2020 and every household eventually became an online seller and "brand". At some point, well at many different points and seasonal updates, eBay converted the sellers into the customers. Pretty smart, short term. Long term, not so good. They have made the platform less attractive to sellers and buyers. Sellers are buyers too, and knowing how things have changed as a seller, why would one want to buy here?

I look at the pricing of these other people's items and reduce my prices accordingly. And I notice on my page with these people my rating is 100% and most of these other sellers are not.

You just noticed? eBay has been placing sponsored ads in this location for several years, up until the recent testing there were 4 or 5 lines, now there are only two lines.

Up until very recently when a seller looked at their own listings the ads did not show but that changed and now you see them.

The only reason I can think of that this is new to you is that you have never looked at any listings other than your own.

Actually I have many times.  I not only sell on ebay, I buy a great deal on ebay as well.  I never had any sponsored items at the top or bottom of my listings until recently.    I'm wondering why you are replying to my post since it doesn't appear that you are a seller and you have a feedback score of "3" so............. you don't appear to have any real experience on this issue as a buyer or a seller.
