I've never heard of a "special listing" - can you provide a link to the website where the term was used?

"Special listing" is a term I've never heard here, either. Hmmm... 🤔

I have never heard of a special listing...not really sure what you are referring to . Hopefully you are not reading anything on line that could and very well be be false info. Just sayin...Given what you are selling I would be careful. Many of your items cannot be exported to other countries due to FDA regulations and customs. You have many false claims that cannot be proven and that can jeopardize your account.

I'm adding on as a 25 year ebay seller. NEVER heard the term "Special listing"

I routinely create "special listing" items for regular individual buyers, if I find something in which I think they'd be interested.
When I find such an item, I email that particular buyer, and describe what I have uncovered, often including photos. Also I indicate that this item(s) is not yet listed on eBay; but that I would create a "special listing" for for them (if they are interested), as well as indicating what the item price would be, plus shipping.
Once the buyer confirms that they wish to purchase the item, I simply create a "no-frills" eBay item, describing it on the item line as "Special listing for X1Y2Z3," or whomever, and list it.
On the other hand, if the buyer is not interested, I simply create one of my regular listings, and load it onto my site.
Once eBay has provided a standard eBay item number, I provide that information to the buyer; and, within moments, the buyer makes the purchase.
Everything is done via eBay email, and nothing is done off the eBay site.

Actually, I've done that too. Never occurred to me.
I wonder as the OP is a seller in India, if that's a
particular term for those sellers?

I would be surprised if that's the type of "special listing" the original poster is referring to.

editing your post to be gone (blank) would be in good taste
I'm used to a lack of respect.
I was mocking MYSELF not the op.
But for you my friend, the post has been edited.

as I have edited as well, it may be in good taste to edit again as to "unquote".
