In order to make purchases they would have to using your "credit card". You should contact credit card company and notify them of fraudulent activity on your account.

Sounds like a Phishing scheme. Is there an actual order in your purchase history? Hit reply (don't reply) just to see what email address it came from.

If I was you, I will log into ebay account. Look for Purchases. If the purchase that you are referring about shows up there, I will call the credit card company and have them cancel the credit card and issue a new one.
If purchases are not showing up on your ebay account, I will just ignore the email and delete. Don't click on any of the links, as it might be a computer virus...

It looks like somebody is scamming your email... Do not click on any links in it. Do not reply as well. If you hover on the sender's email address, you will see the real address which gonna be different than it shows in the sender's address bar. I doubt that somebody is making purchases with your email address. It's a scam to get your information. Usually such emails are sent through different email accounts, and it's almost impossible to get a rid of them. The best is not to open them at all, just delete them.
