No, do not end the listing, that is a auction with a bid, let the auction run its course.

@sassy954 As @bashort mentioned you can let the Auction run until it ends because you may get more bids and thus sell for a higher price ...
If however you want to accept a bid you can use the End function and the next page will let you sell to the highest bidder. The item will move to our Sold list and you can Send an invoice to the Buyer for payment from there.

Not meaning to be a smart mouth.
The whole idea behind running an auction is to get the last (Highest) amount) rather than the early (Lowest)
amount.

I rarely do auctions and was unsure how that worked, is there any metrics hit for canceling a auction with a bid?

I would let it run it course, as you could receive more bids. Also, since you're a new seller, be Leary of people who ask you to text them and want to pay you with paypal, which is not an acceptable means of payment. You should be paid with the payment options ebay provides, not the buyer. Lots of scammers out there who gun for new sellers and try to swindle them. Hopefully that won't be the case, but it's posted on these boards daily from many other new sellers who experience this same type of buyer behavior. Good luck and be careful.

All good advice. Also, I wouldn't end an auction early at $75.00 when the item last sold at $141.00 and seems
to sell on a regular basis for $120.00 or so.

Thank you!

You set up an auction which you should let run it's course, because you may get more bids.
I looked at your other auction and you are going to have a problem with it. I assume you want to start each house at $15 and take $350 for all. Unfortunately you have it set up as opening price $15 for all with a buy it now of $350 for all. If you want to sell them separately you need to make a variation listing or all separate listings. eBay doesn't have Dutch auctions.
You have a INAD waiting to happen. What you have in your description doesn't match the way you have the listing set up.
You need to research a little more on how auctions work, before you end up with very unhappy buyers and a lot of frustration on yourself.

I completely understand how auctions work.
Thank you, though. Just fairly new to Ebay.

Awesome. I appreciate all the inside and I agree that I should have researched a little better. I apologize for my ignorance LOL

I agree. Thank you very much for the info and I will research more before I do this again.

Ok. I'm not here to confront or be confronted. Thanks

No need. We all started at zero on our first day. The only dumb questions, are the questions that don't get asked.
