Why are some of my listings are in red while most are in black

Other people's listings when look at a search? 

I've never seen any listings in red.

Most likely, it's just your browser showing you what links you've viewed.  If you mean the price of the item, though, that's probably items that are auction-style listings without bids yet, I think those prices show in red.  If you post a screenshot or just more detail, we can probably confirm what's going on!

If you mean like this, it's like @brightlightbookseller said, and it's because *you* have visited your own listings since you've last cleared your browser history.  For example, I have recently visited the first two of my own listings, but not the second 2.   This isn't an eBay thing, it's a browser thing.  Previously visited links (by you) will most often display as a different color (to only you).
