Some item specifics are total nonsense.

I'm seeing many drop down boxes that want the seller to choose but if no choices apply he's not allowed to type in his own choice even though it says he can. This includes subject matter or name of a famous person. Other drop down boxes only go back to a specific year in the early 1900s. What if the item is from 1855 or 1780? Some item specifics for the same item want to know the place where it was made several times. Redundant, ridiculous, misleading and tedious item specifics are not necessary to 100% of buyers.

Agreed.

What is really annoying is they have the "year" upside down - instead of starting with 2021 and working your way down, it starts with 1900 or something inane.
