Why is it that when I sell an item, eBay moves it to the SOLD page but also leaves it in the ACTIVE page? This way, if someone else buys it, I will be in great trouble. I noticed this mostly with Buy-it-Now items. Any comments would be appreciated.

Do you have the out of stock option checked off in your preferences? If you do, an item will not end when there is zero stock unless you end it manually. It will show up in your active listings to you but your buyers won't see it.

These are one of a kind items. When I list them, I mark "1" as quantity. I noticed that now the quantity shows 0, but the listing still shows in the active page.

Go to the site preferences page. The out of stock option is near the top of that page.

When the out of stock option is enabled all gtc listings will remain active regardless if there were originally 1 or 10 available.

If the Out Of Stock option is turned on, the sold item will stay active, but show zero stock.
It will stay active and relist for 3 months if you don't end the listing.

Will that apply to all listings? I would like to delete some but keep others that I would replenish.

No unfortunately - eBay, in their incalculable wisdom, has designed this feature to be all or nothing at all. If it behooves you to keep it on, you can just delete the sold items - I believe..................
