Sold an item Awaiting payment not showing up on paypal

hey guys i just sold some cool glasses on ebay for 56.99 and im new so i get i have to wait but it says awaiting payment and i understand due to me being new. but it should say payment recieved in my paypal activity but it doesnt can u guys help me out? thx!

Do you require immediate payment, was this a BIN? Or did they win an auction? Either way I would not do anything until you get the notice that they have paid through Paypal, even if they are holding money due to you being new (if they still do that... I just returned to selling myself).

Do not ship until you see ship now in PayPal.
Your money will be held in PayPal for up to 21 days (usually sooner)

If it says awaiting payment THE BUYER HASN'T PAID YET!  Do not ship until Paypal displays the Paid, Ship Now message on the sale.   

If you receive an email claiming to show that you've been paid, login to Paypal and check to see.  Usually the email is fake and you are being scammed.  New sellers get ripped off this way far too often.

Once payment is made Paypal will display Ship Now, but you won't be able to withdraw the money for a few days, but it will NOT say "awaiting payment" during that time.

I took a 5 year vacation and I didnt have my money held, but I always leave it in pay pal and use it to buy stuff.

If it says awaiting payment it is NOT because you are new, it’s because the buyer has NOT paid. When the buyer pays, it will show payment received on eBay and you’ll see the transaction in your PayPal account. Your buyer hasn’t paid yet.
