Pinning half a dozen items (including outdated broadcast announcements!) is making it harder to read this board.

I disappear them, along with almost all the announcements, long threads that won't die, threads full of nothing but aggrieved back and forth bickering by regulars, and posts by those special users with my Annihilator script.

And once again there is such a big block for a header, plus half a dozen pinned messages, that the first screen has nothing useful.  I am *so* tempted to give up on this...

I too am bothered by this....................and in that vein, I wish there was a way to mark a thread "Read" without having to open it, etc. There are many threads who's content, while worthwhile, I m just not interested in. It would make locating those threads I am interested in easier to notice. That and the reinstatement of the "UP" to the top arrow..................................

I agree, it's time to un-pin several of those including top seller for October (since November is nearly done), Thanksgiving greeting (Thanksgiving was 6 days ago). Not sure why "Always open" and "Volume pricing" were pinned in the first place, but 3 weeks might be long enough.

The October thread you mention is being unpinned as we speak due to November being almost over.  

That's fine with me~I have no problems, though, even with several threads pinned, no matter what they are~and there are 5  or 6 now.  I just don't find it at all troubling to scroll down, but that's me~if Alan or the Team feel something needs to be pinned, that is their perogative, IMO.  It's their Board.
