Snupps

Ok, Ebay doesn't say what snupps cost.   Does anyone know more about it?  Not much to go on with Ebay.

What are snupps? And why would you rely on eBay to tell you the value of anything?

It's a social media website, you can google it.  There is a youtube video. Just another hoop to jump through for more sales that probably won't happen.

So it’s not an eBay product?

No, it's an app.

ebay partnered with them

http://pages.ebay.com/snupps/

You would have to look into how they are working together as the link is vague

maybe goggle search or something

I haven't downloaded the App

Since your listing your items

On eBay via the App I guess any FVF would apply not sure about listing fees

I found this on the web:

With this eBay partnership, users can now list and purchase items on eBay from within the Snupps app. Specifically, a Snupps user can share a picture of an item they’d like to sell and tap the currency icon in the corner of the image to connect to their eBay account and list the item. Once an item has been listed, other users can see its price and details within the Snupps app, as well as on eBay itself.

Now that I think about it, I am not sure that if FVF applies, although I think so.  And I am also wondering, would this be considered an off eBay sale?

Another gotcha!!

I was thinking the same exact thing. Someone will contact you through the Snupp app requesting / giving contact info or a offer and BAM you get in trouble for an off ebay transaction.

It's a free app that helps you organize your inventory and additionally allows you to list on eBay.

The app is actually really cool, especially if you want to keep track of your inventory. I find it helpful.

If you read the page that labs118 wrote, it's pretty clear:

"inspire followers with your collections, and list your items on eBay through the free app"

The app is free; listing on Bay is not. When you list through Snupps, you are listing on eBay.  When a buyer sees it on Snupps and wants to buy, he buys it on eBay.  The transaction is on eBay, so of course you pay a final value fee on eBay.

And if you want to to sell your item on Snupps, you need to "inspire" people to follow your collection. So you do the work to generate your own traffic, and then you drive them to pay eBay so they can earn commission from the work that you did.

Unless the app has tools that allow you to do bulk listing and to store a full eBay listing (title, description, category, condition, item specifics, return policy, shipping costs, weight, etc.) I would question whether it is a viable option for a seller who is running a business.
