My auctions state no returns as there are many terrible buyers out there.
I'm honest and fair, I will take responsibility for anything that is my fault.
I listed a phone and a real POS bought it. I knew it was a mistake when they start emailing about crediting them on the shipping that they needed to pay less.
I stood my ground and shipped well packed and 2 day shipping.
The buyer waited 10 days after receiving the phone and filed a return stating not as described, of course not contacting me.
I contacted them and the buyer said that the phone was locked for non-payment. Which was a lie.
I sold it as a T-Mobile phone. I contacted TMobile and got the unlock instructions and sent to buyer.
They stated they only wanted to return it. Nothing was wrong with the phone, and it was sold as described but I went out of my way to help.
eBay stated as a seller I had no rights and if a buyer states not as described I would be required to allow the return, I said NO, prove that it was not as described. I told eBay to read the communications. eBay doesn't have the time to investigate properly.
eBay then authorized the return and stated that I must still pay the fees and even though not all the pieces were returned with the phone (the charger, etc.) that didn't matter. The buyer returned the phone in an envelope!
Price of doing business with eBay, and I was instructed I didn't know how this worked.
There was no evidence provided that this was sold not as described.
This is why sellers absolutely hate eBay. Seller fees are going up, and we are treated like dirt. I've bought and sold a considerable amount. And this is what I get.
