I just got a 2nd hand Sony A7 camera. It came with a 28-70mm kit lens, but I also have some old Canon FD lenses. But no macro lens.
Question to the experts, what is a good focal length for a macro? I need to take images of small parts, like watch details for example. I am thinking of 50-60mm. A light box and tripod I have already.
Any expert suggestion?
