Sizing dimensions required

Hi sellers can you please put size dimensions on clothing for bigger ladies i.e.  xl 2X xxl 1X 2X 3X. The sizing on these item can vary quite a bit and sending a message doesn’t always get answered or takes days to sort out. Thank you

Re: Sizing dimensions required

Hello,

If it is not in the listing requirements when filling out the listing probably best bet would be to put exact sizing in the description field.

Re: Sizing dimensions required

As you probably know "women's clothing sizes are NOT standardized".   To guarantee fit you need to  "measurement of your clothing and compare to measurements shown in listing".

Each designer may be different sizing charts.    Standardized Sizing Charts shows 1x (14W and 16W),   2X (18W and 20W),  3X (22W and 24W),  4X (26W, 28W,  5X (32W).

@17dakotamoon  It's a problem in misses/juniors sizing, too.  I always have measurements in my listings and don't know how people shop without them.  It's not just eBay - I also list/shop on Poshmark and it's even worse, if possible.

Hopefully a few more people will read your post and think twice about omitting measurements. And yes, people DO read them!

And then they purchase them, only to return them later for "didn't fit".

I agree with you. I put detailed measurements in all my listings... those for petites, plus and all others. You're welcome!

Re: Sizing dimensions required

Key clothing  dimensions  should be in the listing description for all sizes of men's & women's apparel.  There are no universal standards for dimensions of a given size and  body shapes  are all over the map - just go to Wal-Mart and people watch on any given Friday or Saturday.

Amen.  And don't forget the sleeve lengths (center back to cuff seam on a long-sleeved shirt) .  If someone's a tall size it's critical.  I've nearly taken the shoulder seams out of shirts before by buttoning the cuffs and crossing my arms.   Men's shirts have it listed  right on the garment as often as not, but women's are all over the map.
