Since when is Saturday a Business Day? Apparently since January? Lost TRS Status... anyone else?

Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? Sales page shows a Friday purchase needs to ship on SATURDAY even though it's clearly not a business day. I have made at least 20+ calls, filed appeals, given each CSR detailed list of items affected. The seller performance report shows EVERY sale on Saturday shipped late late and I have lost my Top Rated Seller status along with the discount. Each and every time I call I ask to report to two different departments - seller performance and website/technical support. 

I am SO SICK of the endless useless calls to them without any resolution for six months now.

Is anybody having these issues? What helps / helped?

Have you contact the Facebook ebay business page? Regular CS will be useless on this issue. 

and no I haven’t seen this issue. I have had some Friday sales and they all said ship by Monday

Those programmers who coded this algorithm do not live in USA.
They do not have Saturday in their country, therfore, it's natural to them Saturday, Sunday are all regular business days because they work everyday, day and night.
They probably do not even have postal service in their country, they do not know what that is.

I've never, ever had Saturday claimed as a business day, even when I was next day shipping.

I agree - this warrants a call to their Facebook support - something sounds really off about this.

Neither have I. I have three-day handling and if I sell something on a Thursday, it doesn't need to go out until next Tuesday.

Always shipped  late Friday or early Saturday purchases on Saturdays.   My std handling time was always 1 day but shipped many  purchases the  same  day (if our carrier hadn't  came by).  All in the interest of providing Top  Shelf Customer Service and increased buyer Satisfaction.  Didn't  save me any time to  ship early than when eBay said I could.

If you go to the page for ‘setting your working times’, is Saturday set as a working day?

Although the cut off times are only used for same day shipping I read that if Saturday is  checked off as a work day that it will be assumed that you ship will on Saturdays.  I’ve never tested that theory but if Saturday is checked off  it would be easy to see if unchecking it helps your problem.

That is the right page to show your working days.  Check the Saturday box, and eBay expects you to ship out on weekends.

Weekends and holidays aren't included in estimated delivery dates, even though some carriers deliver on weekends.

A buyer may contact you if they specifically need a weekend delivery, or if they want a faster delivery option. If they're willing to pay any difference in cost, it's up to you whether to accept their request or not.

I do not have my Facebook and eBay profiles linked. I couldn’t find any way to contact Facebook eBay business page. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is the root problem. I’m sure you won’t be surprised if I tell you that CSR gives me the runaround every time.

The working day schedule is only applicable to same-day shipping cut off times. I couldn’t find any other page with a work schedule..

is there another location within the eBay site?

The workday schedule is only for same-day shipping cut-off times. Trying to find a resolution for one business day ship.  Saturday is unchecked… Giving this a try.

My concern is for uploading / scanned with USPS on time. I haven’t had too many troubles with estimated deliveries.
