This is total *bleep*. I never authorized ebay to just pay themselves with my paypal. Well, I hadnt planned to pay the way they decide to process it, so Ill probably get an overdraft fee. Consider this my last time selling on ebay. I cant wait to see ebay finally die it's deserved death.

Hi, how did you set up your payment method? Mine is set at automatic payment. Sellers receive an invoice of all selling related fees once a month and there are several methods available to pay them. Below is a link you might find helpful about setting them up.

Every other time I have sold on ebay, I manually made the payment. I NEVER set up auto pay of any sort. Its fine, this site can go to hell. I already ended my auctions and will stop using this site completely. ebay can have their little kingdom of garbage. It will eventually come to a head. I also got a "community warning" for this post, despite the fact that there are already filters in place to block the language. Nice, these jackals have time to troll the forums warning "violators", but not to address user problems. All of it is pathetic. Not to mention my items keep getting relisted with the "offer" setting, even though I keep removing it. More "ebay knows best" garbage.

Your payment date is probably the lst and you didn't pay manually so they deducted it from your funding source...........

as @dhbookds mentioned. It sounds like you are setup on the 15th of the month when fees are due and eBay generiously gives you a couple weeks to make the payment. You must have always did a one time payment before the auto setting kicks in.

Most people find it actually the simplest way to take care of ebay fees. If you sell, you should have funds available, which works out well.

If you cannot afford for Ebay to take your fees from your payment source (pp) then it's probably best. You could have paid manually as they give you plenty of time. It would haves still cost the same. Ebay has always taken my fees that way, no big deal.
